Scythe is a strategic engine-building game set in an alternate history where players control characters from different factions vying for power and resources. With a focus on conquering territory, recruiting new allies, gathering resources, constructing buildings, and deploying mechs, Scythe offers a dynamic gameplay experience for 1-5 players. The game is designed to be completed within a minimum playtime of 115 minutes and is suitable for ages 14 and above.

Customize Your Strategy Each player starts the game with unique resources, starting positions, and hidden goals, enhancing the game's asymmetrical nature. Scythe utilizes a streamlined action-selection system that maintains a brisk pace and reduces downtime between turns. Players can choose from four top row actions - move, bolster, trade, produce - and follow up with corresponding bottom row actions - upgrade, deploy, build, enlist. Victory is achieved by earning stars for completing goals and multiplying the total score with the player's popularity. The winner is the player with the most points once a player places their 6th star.
